Companies with market cap in the $1bn-2bn range (Rs7,000Cr-14,000Cr) can be considered mid caps. Those less than $1bn Rs7,000Cr can be considered small cap. My ballpark is large caps would be around 200 companies, mid caps around 100 companies, and rest all are small caps.
