In order to secure admission into OOU through UTME or Direct Entry, you must meet the school Post UTME cut off mark, have required O'level result, and Pass Post UTME screening test. Candidates must have at least five credits in O'level which must include Mathematics, English and credits in relevant subjects.

The OOU admission board through it's Public Relations Officer has disclosed that candidates who choose/did not choose the University as their first choice/2nd choice during JAMB Registration, and scored a minimum of 180 are eligible for the post UTME screening exercise. This means that the OOU JAMB cut off mark is 180.
